MARLBOROUGH – City councilors Monday referred the proposed appointment of veteran Lt. David Giorgi as the city’s new police chief to the Personnel Committee.The committee – which consists of city councilors Robert Tunnera, Matt Elder and John Irish – will meet with Giorgi to discuss his qualifications and provide a recommendation to the full City Council.
