SOUTHBOROUGH — Police Chief Ken Paulhus is getting $18,000 raise in a move selectmen say will put his salary on par with his experience, and the pay of his counterparts in surrounding towns. Selectmen on Tuesday night voted 3-0 to approve increasing the chief's salary from $120,000 to $138,000 in public session, after a 5-0 vote was taken at an executive session at a previous meeting.
