ASHLAND - The town has made several recent strides toward its goal of constructing a new public safety building for its Police and Fire departments.Town Manager Michael Herbert told the Daily News on Thursday that developer Howard Fafard and the Board of Selectmen have signed a letter of intent under which Fafard will donate 4 acres off Union Street (Rte. 135) to house the proposed public safety building.
