FRAMINGHAM – A Whitman man and his friend arranged to buy a used cellphone, but instead robbed the seller at gunpoint in January, a prosecutor said in Framingham District Court on Wednesday.Police tracked Edson DaSilva, 19, using social media and charged him with the Jan. 14 robbery on Waverly Street, prosecutor Francesca Cone said during DaSilva’s arraignment.The victim worked at Annie’s One Stop on Waverly Street, which offers phone repairs and sales.
