WESTBORO – Former School Committee member David Crandall, who is facing three sex assault charges, resigned last Friday and the town is seeking applicants to fill the vacancy.Crandall, 43, of 5 Chestnut St., was arraigned March 29 in Westborough District Court on two counts of indecent assault and battery on a child younger than 14, and one count of assault with the intent to rape.
