NORTHBOROUGH – Selectmen have welcomed a new police sergeant, who took the oath at Monday night’s meeting at the Town Offices. James F. Scesny got the job after emerging as the finalist from a search that began in May. According to Police Chief William Lyver, Scesny was one of five candidates who took a written exam.
