HOPKINTON - After a months-long police investigation, a man charged with heroin trafficking was ordered to remain in custody.Joseph G. Neri, 34, of 116 Hayden Rowe St., was arrested on Wednesday and charged with trafficking heroin, police said. On Thursday, Framingham District Court Judge Martine Carroll ordered Neri held at the request of probation officer Ann Schneider, who called him a "career criminal."Court records show police launched an investigation into Neri in April.
