FRAMINGHAM – A woman incarcerated at MCI-Framingham was charged with assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after she allegedly hit another inmate with a belt.Maria Metz, 32, was arraigned Tuesday on the two charges, which stem from a Dec. 1 incident at the state prison that was caught on surveillance camera.Metz admitted to using her belt to assault a female inmate, striking her twice, according to a Department of Correction incident report [...]
